Meet Dr. Stephen Culhane
Learning has always been at the centre of my life.

I am an educator with more than 35 years of experience teaching and leading learning in schools, colleges, universities, and professional organizations. My work has included roles as a secondary school teacher, university professor, Associate Dean of Continuing Studies, language program director, and educational consultant.
I hold a PhD from the University of British Columbia and have taught students ranging from elementary school to graduate studies. Throughout my career, I have focused on helping learners develop confidence, curiosity, strong communication skills, and the ability to think critically about the world around them.
Today, through Culhane Academy, I bring together the best of traditional teaching and modern technology. Whether students are strengthening reading and writing skills, preparing for academic success, exploring science and world issues, or learning to use artificial intelligence effectively, my goal remains the same: to help each learner discover who they are, who they want to become, and how they can achieve their goals.
I believe learning should be challenging, engaging, and meaningful. Every student deserves thoughtful guidance, high expectations, and the opportunity to grow with confidence.
